I think that miss Franny's grandpa had a lot of sadness in his life that is why he bought a candy factory and made sweet candy.He did this because he wanted to make other peoples lives sweet by making sweet candy.The thing is that these candy's weren't just any ordinary candy they were ... made with sorrow,the sorrow of miss Franny's grandpa.
