Because of Winn Dixie Opal Feels Like She has a Mom.

Opal’s dad starts talking to Opal a lot more when she brought Winn Dixie home. I think that Opals dad started really talking to Opal because, they had a common friend that pulled them together and made Opal feel like she had a mom.

Because of Winn Dixie Opal feels like she has a mom. For Example, Opal’s mom left a hole in Opal’s heart and if Winn Dixie didn’t come along and help Opal make friend’s opal would still have that hole in her heart. Winn Dixie has helped Opal fill that hole because Opal made all of her friend’s  because all of her friend’s were interested in Winn Dixie.

Everybody needs at least one friend. This relates to the book Because of Winn Dixie By: Cate Dicamillo because when Opal’s mom ran away Opal had no friend’s and then she brought Winn Dixie home and her life was happier.

Winn Dixie makes Opal feel like she has a mom. I think this because , It seemed like at the start of the book Opal was very sad because her mom left, and towards the end of the book Opal was much happier because she had lots of friends.Because of Winn Dixie  Opal is a much happier person.

I think that overall Because of Winn Dixie is a good book because there is not just a little struggle but a huge struggle .Opal's big struggle is that her mom ran away when Opal was little. This book was interesting because Opal was happy at the end of the book when she had Winn Dixie but still had no mom.
